Race Night 13: Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed

I don't own this game so I have no idea what goals to use. I have looked on SRL for ideas and all I can see is beating some cups on beginner. So how about you guys give me some ideas on what goals to use, plus your vote as well and I'll add them to the list.

1) All normal cups: 1
2) All mirror cups: 1
3) All normal cups and mirror cups: 1

I should also tell you that SRL is switching IRC servers on 14th December, which is the day before the race. So you need to register your nick on irc.speedrunslive.com:6667! Do that before you race please.

What you all should do, is race online together., keeping track of wins/points and such. Winner is the one with the most after a set time period, or one playthrough of each track.

Yeah we're not doing that. Had a word with sonikku and sounds like we could probably do 3 cups or 2 grand prix I think.

I vote either all Normal cups (5), all Mirror cups (5) or a mixture of the 2. since each cup has 4 races in each, it'll be a decent lengthed race.

i personally would rather just do 1 grand prix cup and then do a rematch if it goes well, dunno who all is gonna show up and i don't feel like sitting there for a long race if there's not gonna be that many people there

i'm probably not as fast as you then, it takes me about 20 minutes according to the ingame clock for 4 of the 5 grand prix cups and after load times and cutscenes it ended up closer to a half hour each. are you gonna be at the race this week, btw?

Yeah its something I really want to play. Also yeah, but half hour is still pretty short imo. How about 2-4 then? Or 1 mirror, 1 normal.

my original idea was 3 cups, but then i got thinking not a lot of people would show up. if a good amount show up i think 3 cups is a good number, if it just ends up being me and like 1 other guy i'd rather just do 1 cup and get it over with lol

So far I have not been happy with the level of interest this game has been receiving so far, so this is what I am going to do. I am going to create the room as usual at 4pm and see what happens. If not a lot of people turn up by 4:55 I will be changing the game to whatever, we can decide at the time. That race will start at 5:15 so as to give people the chance to swap games and to set up their streams or whatever.

Yes that is going to happen. I will not start a race where there is hardly any interest. If you don't like it then you can just make your own race anytime outside of race nights, with people that are generally interested.

Then you need to take a look at here and you'll see that no one voted for it. Umbreon asked me to put it up on the list because it's a brand new game and people might want to race it.

The voting is closed and we are going to use normal cups. We'll come up with how many and what in the room so be there at 4pm EST when it opens please.

As I don't know the game well enough, I don't think there is a problem in using different characters as it's allowed on TSC (for ASR) and I couldn't see anything about it on the SRL goals. As for glitches I see no reason why they shouldn't be allowed. If I missed out on anything or something needs to be addressed please let me know.
